We wanted a week to spend chilling out in Wales and Deerview Lodge really gave us this opportunity. the place is unreal, the open access to the decking area, hot tub and garden was amazing. Coupled with the weather we felt like we were abroad every day. Daniela and Martyn couldn't have been better hosts, they were attentive and helpful throughout the full stay. They even provided us with sun loungers, prosecco, chocolate and cakes for the kids.
We managed to cram in lots of activities including the Zipworld, Aberdare, visited Cwmaman - home of the Stereophonics. Barry Island amusements and mini golf ( home of Gaving and Stacey). Cardiff Bay and Coney beach, Porthcawl. The Aubrey Arms pub is only a 10 minute walk from the house and served lovely food and drinks.
With the building next door under way to be ready for next year we are definitely hoping to return to Bonvilston.

The welcome basket and birthday card were a lovely extra touch and really made us feel right at home. The hot tub was amazing, so worth the money. It truly is a lovely place to stay. ... read more The whole lodge was comfortable and extremely clean. Waking up to a view of fields and goats was magical. Although chilly, we still managed to make use of the hot tub! The lodge itself is extremely warm (the underfloor heating was a delight!). Shops are located 8 minutes away, Cardiff city centre 25 minutes drive. We booked a 4x4 off road experience which was awesome and is highly recommended. Plenty of places to eat and drink in Cardiff. For any keen shoppers, Cardiff provides a wonderful shopping experience! Definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Thank you Daniela for the constant communication and for ensuring our stay was as wonderful as it was.
